J W Herndon, age 86, of Canton, GA passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Northside Hospital Atlanta. He was the owner of Herndon Heating & Air for over 60 years. He was a member of North Canton Baptist Church and Sharp Top Masonic Lodge. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, on Sunday, October 16, 2016, from the North Canton Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Samples, Rev. Jim Amos, and Rev. Charles Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday, October 14, 2016, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, October 15, 2016, and from 10:00 AM to 12:00, Sunday, October 16, 2016 at South Canton Funeral Home.
