Lois Abernathy Cook, age 87, of Rydal, GA passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Cook was a member of Pleasant Olive Baptist Church.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Saturday, August 20, 2016, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Sheffield, Rev. Leroy Kelley, and Rev. Derron Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Rydal Ga..

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday, August 19, 2016, at South Canton Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by, Husband: H. Maurice Cook, Sr.; Son: H. Maurice "Mike" Cook, Jr.; Parents: Roy V. & Hester Abernathy; Granddaughter: Mary Grace Letner; Sister: Vonzeal Kelly; Brothers: Eugene Abernathy & Ray Abernathy

Survivors include:
